1. Use of AI Services

Lumina provides an AI-powered educational ecosystem. By using the AI Instructor, Live Sessions, or Course Generator, you acknowledge that:

  • Accuracy: AI-generated content may occasionally contain factual inaccuracies. Lumina is a supplemental tool and should not be the sole source for critical educational assessment.
  • Usage Limits: Each AI feature has a specific credit cost. These costs are subject to adjustment based on model updates and operational expenses.
  • Conduct: You agree not to use the AI to generate harmful, biased, or prohibited academic content (e.g., direct plagiarism or exam cheating).

2. Lumina Marketplace Terms

The Lumina Marketplace allows users to buy and sell study materials.

  • Seller Responsibility: Sellers must own the intellectual property rights to any material they list. Uploading copyrighted textbooks or materials you did not create is strictly prohibited.
  • Marketplace Credits: Earnings from sales are stored as Marketplace Credits. These can be withdrawn to your main wallet at a rate of 1 credit = ₦200 value (subject to platform fees).
  • Final Sales: Due to the digital nature of study materials, all marketplace purchases are final and non-refundable once the file has been accessed or downloaded.

3. Credit Economy & Withdrawals

Lumina operates on a dual-wallet system. Your Study Wallet is for consuming features, while your Marketplace Wallet tracks earnings. Withdrawals from the Marketplace Wallet to the Study Wallet are processed instantly. Lumina reserves the right to freeze withdrawals if fraudulent sales activity is detected.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original content you upload. By listing a product on the marketplace, you grant other users a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use that material for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability

Lumina is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any academic failures, loss of data, or disruptions in service caused by third-party infrastructure (e.g., Supabase, Google Cloud, Paystack).
